We are delighted to be re-launching our Community Players with a new theatre group trained to perform for audiences around the Borough using interactive Forum Theatre to explore a range of current social issues.
Arc Theatre presents Community Forum Theatre
A NEW, FREE TO JOIN ADULT THEATRE GROUP
in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham
Pilot sessions run 7-9pm on Monday 9, 16 and 23 May 2016
If you would like to become part of a team of adults who enjoy performing and meeting new people, you could be working with our professional actors and directors to learn new drama skills, develop performance techniques and train in interactive Forum Theatre. Arc’s series of rehearsals at our home at Kingsley Hall Community Centre in Dagenham are FREE OF CHARGE and open to everyone aged 18 and over, regardless of ability or experience. All we ask for is your energy and enthusiasm!
“I've met amazing people - strangers who have become friends. I'm not sure we would've met if not through the project, even though we all live so close to one another…”
“I have had a ball, learned new skills, met fantastic people and most of all done something that I am passionate about, and actually had the confidence to perform in a play. Thank you Arc for this opportunity!” Community Players
Arc’s Community Forum Theatre is free to join in May 2016, thanks to funding from Seedbed Community Trust. To register your interest in taking part, contact Nita Bocking at Arc on 020 8595 8509.
