Arc news: August 2009

Arc invites you to a performance of Trading Stories
written by Clifford Oliver and directed by Andy Rogers for Arc
created with and performed by the Barking & Dagenham Community Players
funded by the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham
The scene is a village not unlike Dagenham at the turn of the last century. The market is coming to life and a new, mysterious toy-seller arrives to set up his stall...
With comical characters, an intriguing storyline and a fascinating insight into Victorian working life, Trading Stories features original music, costume and the talents of a committed team of local people who have formed the brand new Barking & Dagenham Community Players!
Please support and encourage our fantastic team by coming along to one of our performances between 23 and 29 August:
