Safer streets for young people in Barking & Dagenham schools
Booking now for January 2020, Arc's Stop and Think performance programme has now been funded by Barking & Dagenham Safer Neighbourhoods Board (MOPAC) for young people in both primary and secondary schools.
Covering serious issues about the law, but delivered in a fun and engaging way, Arc's youth engagement programme uses live theatre to raise awareness of the realities of Police powers of 'Stop and Search' or 'Stop and Account' in the Borough’s schools – and for the first time we are now presenting to Year 5 and 6 pupils in the Borough’s primaries, through to Year 9 secondary students.
Tackling the issues in a safe and inclusive environment, Arc's interactive performances are completely FREE OF CHARGE, however, there are very limited dates available and these will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Schools can book a day of up to three 60-minute performance programmes for up to 90 students each session. Call Theresa Snooks at Arc's Office on 020 8595 8509 or email theresa@arctheatre.com
