Presented by actor, musician and educator Clifford ‘Olly’ Oliver, Oliver’s Tales is returning to schools with its highly engaging, entertaining and educational sessions for young people. Acting as a catalyst and editor, Olly inspires children to contribute their own ideas, shaping them into exciting narratives and providing background music to underscore the action!
Oliver’s Tales works alongside the National Curriculum at KS1/2 to reflect the importance of spoken language in pupils’ development across the whole curriculum. Story themes can also be used to address social, cultural and moral issues within the class, including bullying, prejudice, internet safety and environmental issues, to complement school activities like Book Week, or to explore curriculum subjects using historical figures and events, solar systems and aliens, or even buried treasure! If you work with children, we can create a package to meet your needs!
