Stop & Think

Arc’s Stop & Think is an engaging intervention programme available to both primary and secondary students – using live, participative theatre to help improve Police and community relations and bust the myths surrounding Stop and Search, including:

  • Why the Police use ‘Stop and Search’ or ‘Stop and Account’ and the difference between them,
  • Young people’s legal rights and responsibilities,
  • What behaviours might cause young people to be stopped,
  • The legal implications of drugs, weapon carrying and anti-social behaviour,
  • The realities of County Lines, grooming and Child Criminal and Sexual Exploitation etc.,
  • How to behave during a ‘stop’ in order that no offences are committed as a result of the procedure itself.

If you’d like to talk to us about how to engage your audience on issues that really matter, please contact nita@arctheatre.com or call 07483 342158.
