Streets Ahead

Arc’s dynamic accident prevention resource for primary audiences uses an engaging mix of live theatre (adapted from Crossing Over – Resident Writer Clifford Oliver’s secondary piece) and multi-media to increase road safety awareness.  The programme has been specially developed to highlight the risks and consequences of distraction or bad judgement on the street, and the impact upon victims’ families and the local community.

With film clips and Q&As to accompany the drama piece, Arc’s Streets Ahead performance programme helps to reinforce key safety messages, including:

  • Road collisions are multi-causational and it CAN happen to YOU,
  • Risks and consequences of distraction, e.g. friends, phones, ear/headphones etc.,
  • Vulnerability of pedestrians (i.e. roads are dangerous and vehicles can kill),
  • The importance of taking individual responsibility.

If you’d like to talk to us about how to engage your audience on issues that really matter, please contact nita@arctheatre.com or call 07483 342158.
