Using theatre to counter hate with schoolchildren in London

This summer marks the delivery of four years of our Unlimited countering hate and extremism programme for children in London primary schools, generously funded by the Mayor of London’s Shared Endeavour Grant!

Created and facilitated by Arc’s Education Director Natalie Smith, and featuring the Outsider play specially written for the programme by Resident Writer and Co-Founder Clifford Oliver, Unlimited is a dynamic and powerful engagement resource originally developed in 2018 for the Home Office ‘Building a Stronger Britain Together’ programme.

Arc’s Unlimited performance programme aims to create more resilient communities and stand up to extremism in all its forms. Through live theatre, creative workshop activities and discussion which aim to promote British Values, young people learn to celebrate unity in diversity, while sensitively exploring and challenging a range of extremist narratives.

We are very keen to bring this highly popular programme back to London primary schools in autumn/winter 2024. To join our schools waiting list, please contact theresa@arctheatre.com
